Pelican Brewing Joins the West Coast IPA Development

A brand new year-round beer is coming our manner from Pelican Brewing Firm. The Oregon Coastal brewery has added Pelican West Coast IPA to its lineup. This new IPA makes its debut in 6-pack, 12 ounce cans and could be discovered in any respect of Pelican’s pubs alongside the Oregon Coast and in retailers throughout the brewery’s distribution footprint.

Pelican West Coast IPA is brewed with Pilsen Malt and is hopped with Magnum, Galaxy, Centennial Cryo, and Ekuanot Cryo hops. It boasts a 7.4% ABV and 55 IBUs to supply notes of candy citrus and pink grapefruit that’s complemented by a touch of refined lime zest. This beer delivers a refreshing, balanced profile with a crisp clear end that Pelican beers are identified for.

“Pelican West Coast IPA highlights the unbelievable flavors of Centennial and Ekuanot hops, grown proper right here within the Pacific Northwest,” explains Pelican Brewmaster Darron Welch, in a press release. “Evolving from greater than 25 years of expertise producing American IPAs, our new ‘Westy’ emphasizes an inviting hop aroma, crisp refreshing flavors and a clear snappy end.”
